The prophecies of the Bible are given to humanity to help us understand past, present and future events, and all these prophecies each have a time of fulfillment, God having done everything in order, we do not know the dates of the fulfillment of the prophecies, but God gives us indications in the Bible. There is a chronological order from creation to our time and future times. First I will start from the beginning.
In the Bible, there are several dispensations and at each of them, there are events that occur, for example the first dispensation is that of INNOCENCE: The creation of everything and man, the man had no knowledge of good and evil, the man was like a child totally dependent on his parents. Gn 1
The second dispensation is that of CONSCIOUSNESS: Man falls and becomes aware of sin and therefore he comes out of the comfort that God had given him in the Garden of Eden, the man must now live at his expense. Gen 3: 7-24
The third dispensation is that of the HUMAN GOVERNMENT: God empowers man after the flood, the three sons of Noah will formed nations and people on the earth, there will be kings, governors, princes, etc.
The fourth dispensation is that of THE PROMISE: God promises descendants to Abraham through whom the Israelites and the Messiah will descend. Gn 12
The fifth dispensation is THE LAW: God gives His commandments to Moses to communicate them to the whole world. Exodus 19 and 20
The sixth dispensation is that of the CHURCH which is also GRACE: The prophecy of Joel 2: 28-29 is fulfilled, God fills the disciples of Jesus Christ with His Holy Spirit and is born the Church. Act 2
And the seventh dispensation is that of the thousand-year-old KINGDOM of Ap 20
We are currently in the dispensation of the Church, Grace. Let's see the first events that occurred, the destruction of the temple of Jerusalem in the year 70 AD: the disciples of the Lord Jesus asked Him these questions: And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Matt 24:1-3.
At the destruction of this temple, several Judeans were massacred and driven out from their country by Romans, they dispersed throughout the world.
Under the dispensation of the CHURCH, the Lord Jesus told us that there would be tribulations, wars, one nation would rise against another, famine, diseases, etc. And all this was only the beginning of the end of all things, and here we are, we see how powerful nations unfairly attack the weakest, violating their sovereignty and their rights. There have been several wars in the world of which the first and second and third ones are currently being prepared, but all this is not yet the end, before all, the Church of Jesus will be removed before the great tribulation that will occur during the reign of the anti-Christ that will last seven years, so you see, we are not yet in the war of Gog and Magog. After the seven years of the anti-Christ's reign, the Lord will come physically to destroy the nations that will come to attack Israel, this battle is called the war of Armageddon, Rev 16: 12-16.
The dispensations of the KINGDOM: After the battle of Armageddon, satan will be chained for a thousand years, and the Messiah will establish His reign for a thousand years (the millennium), during these thousand years He will gather all the tribes of Israel from all over the world they will recognize their Messiah and all the nations who will have converted to the Messiah of Israel will also come and live together, it will be a kingdom of peace, all will fear God, and obey His commandments, because there will no longer satan to incite to disobedience. Isaiah 65, Rev 7.
After these thousand years, satan will be released again and he will still seduce the world, and the wars will take place again, but Israel will be safe, without walls, weapons, doors or bolts etc, as the prophet says, Ezekiel 38: 8 -14. Let's stop here for now: The Israel of which the prophet Ezekiel speaks is not Israel of today, which is heavily armed, with walls and even satellites, nuclear weapons and a powerful secret service, etc., it is an Israel able to defend itself, the present Israel is not the whole of all the tribes of Israel, living under the reign of the Messiah, so it is clear that we are not yet at the time of Gog's war the prince of Magog against Israel, and so President Putine is not Gog as some claim, unless he lives until after the millennium, which is impossible.
Gog and Magog and his allies will all be destroyed by the fire of God from heaven. Ezekiel 39: 6; Rev 20: 7-9. And there will be a place where they will all be buried, this place is called "the valley of the multitude of Gog." There will also be a city called "Hamona."
N.B: Ezekiel 38 and 39, do not speak about the coming war, nor of president Putin. Putin is not the aggressor, he is on the contrary the defender of unjustly attacked nations, he is not an enemy of Israel, he is the only powerful head of state who does not hold a warlike speech, but who calls for dialogue and peace, so he has nothing to do with the prophecy of Ezekiel.
