THE GIFT OF THE WORD OF KNOWLEDGE

The Bible tells us that the Spirit of God has given the Church of Yeshua (Jesus) spiritual gifts for the edification of the body of Christ, in these gifts include: THE WORD OF KNOWLEDG (1Cor 12v8), let's see some manifestations of this gift through the scriptures.
THE WORD OF KNOWLEDGE: is a gift of revelation, it is a gift through which God reveals the hidden things, things which we has no knowledge either, into visions and dreams, either audibly or into our heart, He can reveal us past events , present and future, it is a word that God communicates to him who has this gift in order to prevent and uncover the dark things, or a blessing to come into a person's life, of in a meeting, and in a countries and also in our own lives, etc.

It is a gift that often attracts a lot of enemies, those who have this gift are often loners and are treated as sorcerer because their presence disturbs those who live in the disorder of afraid that their deeds should be exposed, while is God who does all things according to His will and glory back to Him.

During the together prayer, if a person has a problem and hope of a solution from the Lord, the Lord will communicate the answer either audibly or in the heart of the person who has the gift of the word of knowledge, the person had no knowledge of the problem of the other, but he will say to him: the Lord told me to tell you ... And he will give the solution and the person concerned will be surprised because the one who spoke to him was not aware that he had this problem, it is therefore a word of knowledge communicated and transmitted instantly. Another example: a person loses something precious and asked everyone and no one knows Where is it, the Lord may reveal to the owner who stole it and where it has been hidden.

Biblical example: When Moses came down from the mountain with the tablets of the law, Joshua said to him: Exodus 32v17-18: And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp. And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear. 

Another manifestation of the word of knowledge with the prophet Elisha, when his servant Gehazi went to take the presents that Elisha had refused from Naaman.

2Kings 5v25-27: But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither. And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?  The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

Joseph also had this gift by dreams, and also when he interpreted Pharaoh's dream, interpretation was communicated to him at the instant and he transmitted to Pharaoh. The prophet Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, until John who wrote the Book of Revelation had this gift, the word of knowledge is a gift of the prophets, it does not mean that one who has this gift is a prophet because they are also gave some simple believers, pastors, teachers, apostles and others according to the will of the Spirit of God, but it is much more in the prophets and in some dimension.

Aaron and his sister Miriam also had this gift but that of Moses was a higher dimension.

Numb 12v6-8: And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. 7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

By the word of knowledge God reveals spiritual condition of a person or a church, you can be in a church where the leader lives in sin and God told you to warn him so that it repent and if he listens, he will save his soul, but if he are proud, he will refuse to repent to his sin and because of his sin many believers will also be led into sin and if there is no repentance, the spirit of God retires and the spirit of error is taking place and that is why there are men of God who had well begun their ministry and finally become false pastors, prophets etc, because they begin to preach anti-biblical doctrines and end up in the mystical practices to have another anointing.

We must never looked at the appearance of a person or a community, but to his spiritual condition, always asked God to reveal the things.

The word of knowledge is often imitated by the enemy because the enemy also gives false visions and false messages. The flesh can also give revelation (take their own Thoughts for the word of God), which is why we must remain vigilant, but be careful not to reject everything, Paul exhorts us to analyze everything and keep only what is good (1Thes 5v19-22) which means that man can make a mistake it does not mean it's a fake man, but there are those that are manipulated by the enemy and therefore we must pray for them and help them with love.

Joseph, the fiance of Mary was warned in a dream by an angel of the Lord to take Jesus and Mary and to flee to Egypt because of King Herod (Mat 2v13-14)

Ananias had also received the word of knowledge and he prayed for Paul so that he regains his sight.

Acts 9v10-11: And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.  And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

It is through the gift of the word of knowledge that Moses wrote the Torah, because Moses had not seen all those that had existed before him. All the prophecies of the Bible were written by the word of knowledge.
