The first transgression took place in the Garden of Eden when God commanded the man Gn2v16-17 The LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep. The LORD God commanded the man, you may freely eat of every tree of the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you shall die . The man was well aware that if he transgressed the word, he would die, but the man who had taught his wife however was not able to defend her to disobey God, the Bible says that when his wife ate the forbidden fruit, her husband was there beside her, since she gave him also to eat
The devil will always seek to make us sin against God, but it is up to us to show him that we like and obey our God, while resisting the devil because all is a question of choice.
James4v7: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
But Eve does not have to resist the devil, she has listen to it and even discuss with him, and when this one says to him: Gn3v5: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
It is from this word that Eve was seduced and instead of putting the word of God before, she has preferred to reason no doubt saying to himself: "wow my eyes will open, I'll be like a goddess and I connaittrai the good and the evil " and verse 6: And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Beloveds, the devil will never propose something of bad to us, it will always allure us with an aim of diverting us truth, and of God, but we must have the understanding in order to know if all that one says to us is in conformity with the commands of God, any word which contradicts the word of God , comes from malignant because our God does not say a thing and at the same time are contrary, and if we are not vigilant we will transgress the law of our God.
The fact of having good reasons does not cancel the law of God nor does not divert Its judgement against those which violate Its laws.
Because of this sin in the garden of Eden God cursed the man and the woman, It did not take account of their good reasons, but It held the order account that It had given to the man, God did not change because It is the same one yesterday today and eternally and It holds so that we obeys His commands.
When God put the man in Eden, He giving orders, as when He released His people from Egypt He gave them ten everlasting commandments to observe but these were also trangressed.
For it He sent His only Son as the atoning sacrifice to enable us to obey His commandments (the Ten Commandments) and the Lord Jesus Christ was always the same language when he said in Mat5v17-18:Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. But man has found good reason to consciously to disobey God's laws with the various councils of the Roman church which took place, for example, God says in Exode 20v3-5: Thou shalt have no other gods before me.Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. These words are accompanied by curse, but the human said: the mother of the Savior should be honored for it is she who carried in her womb, thus we must make him an image for to venerate her and more we make her a goddess and queen of heaven (another god before the Creator) all this with the reasons that human find righteous,
Does God will change His commandments because we have good reason to transgressed them? NO! Adam and Eve were cursed and expelled from the Garden of Eden with their good reasons.
Even the patriarch Abraham did not succeed to change the plan of God by making a child with Hagar the servant of his wife, because God had told him that He would give him a child with his wife Sarah and not with another woman and the consequences are there.
Even the patriarch Abraham did not succeed to change the plan of God by making a child with Hagar the servant of his wife, because God had told him that He would give him a child with his wife Sarah and not with another woman and the consequences are there.
The murderer always kills with good reason in his eyes, he will say that his victim was disrespectful to him, his victim had money and himself has none, he wants to taking the place of each other by jealousy etc. all this these are reasons, but these reasons will not change the law of God which says: "Thou shalt not kill"
He who does not love his neighbor will say that his neighbor is not of the same race as him, he does not speak the same language as him, they do not have the same social status, that he eats unclean food, does not practice the same religion as him, he does not talk to him because he does not know, he will not marry a person of another culture, etc, all that these are reasons but these reasons cannot annul the law of God that says, "love your neighbor as yourself."
King David, the man according to God's heart has committed adultery and murder with good reason in his sight 1: the woman was very beautiful, 2 it is not necessary that her husband knows she is pregnant by another man in addition of the king David who supposed to guide the people in the ways of God, but the king David has been judged for his sins: "You shalt not commit adultery, you shalt not kill" (Read 2Sam 12V1-11)
Eve said that has sinned because the serpent had seduced , but God cursed her, Adam said that it is the woman that God gave him who has make him sin, but God cursed him. None of their arguments did not changed God's punishment Gn3v16-19: Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deut 4v2
The Lord has ordered seven feasts written in Exodus 23, but the man said it must be added Hanukkah (Festival of Lights), Purim, etc., Christmas is the anniversary of a pagan deity (the sun god) celebrated with a good reason saying: Jesus was born one day, and so, we take advantage of Christmas to celebrate His birthday (idolatry disguised) Churches are decorated exactly as the Roman church, adorned with green trees, with "Santa Claus", Chrismas songs, etc. The worst among evangelicals Christians is that they say that the feasts of the Lord are feasts under the law of Moses, but they celebrate the Passover, Pentecost, and leave the other feasts to celebrate Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc., they are busy much more about the pagan and traditional feasts, than those that God has established.
Whilst their children remember their altars and their groves by the green trees upon the high hills. Jer 17v2. In our time, the green trees are no longer on the high hills, but in the Church where the Lord's Name is invoked, this is where the green trees are placed to celebrate the birthday of the son of Astarte, the queen of sky, disguised as Mary the mother of
Jesus. When traditions are rooted in a person, it is very difficult for that person to get rid of, must be delivered.
ALL THAT YHWH REQUEST US IS TO OBEY HIM AND NOT TO REASON BECAUSE HE IS THE CREATOR AND WE ARE CREATURES AND HE WILL NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IN HIS LAW BECAUSE OF OUR GOOD REASONS.
Jeremiah 17v5-8: Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Proverbs 16v2: All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
God bless you! Hawa Esther Maiga.
PS: The Lord said that He will come in the night like a thief, imagine that He come in the period when there is the beautifully decorated green tree with lights and garlands in some homes, do you think that these people will be raptured? Let us ask the question why He says that He will come in the night, is it not at night it is easy to know which celebrates the real Jesus and celebrates the sun god celebrate thinking that it's the real Jesus?
It is said that Santa Clause comes at night in imitation of Jesus, it will be easy to know who belongs to who, because each one will recognize his children.
1Thess 5v2: For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Rev 22v18-19.
